Also called I-beams, are construction beams with an I or H shape cross-section. An I-Joist is an engineered timber joist, which combines an engineered composite panel with high-grade softwood. I Beams are available in a range of common industry sizes with a range joist depths (145mm to 450mm). Advantages of I Joist flooring include excellent strength to weight ratio, stable & quiet flooring, are easy to work with and come in lengths up to 12m.
From project Architect/Engineer drawings received in paper format by post or electronically by email, we are able to provide a full roof design to suit any shaped building. From point of order, Truss design layout drawings and Profiles can be issued in hard copy and electronically and are usually available within 1 week from receipt of full working drawings. Our trusted designers are situated all over the Country and can be assigned to suit the nature of the project, be it Truss, Glulam, I beam or Timber Frame.
Timber Frame is a widely-used structural building method offering a fast, eco-friendly, highly-insulated building solution. We are able to offer a full supply and fix service from the design stage right through to handover and have worked on projects ranging from single story extensions too full new build housing projects.
The natural alternative to steel or concrete. Glulam is made by gluing together, under pressure and heat, laminates of timber that have been accurately planed. The resulting product is strong, stable and corrosion proof with significant advantages over structural steel and concrete. Glulam is often used in arenas, balcony roofing, cambered beams, halls and arched beams, pillars and columns, roof beams and rafters.
Supply and installation of timber sub structure to existing building exterior secured to engineers/architects specifications, suitable membranes and insect meshing and finally timber cladding. We can source a range of timber cladding from untreated soft woods to imported hardwood. We are also able to offer various levels of timber treatment options
